April Showers bring May Flowers

I know what you're thinking - it's March and it's been a really wet one!! The good news about this past March is that we hit record temperatures too (on the warm side!). But regardless of whether your event is in April or August, the "R" word can hit at any time - so be prepared (mentally and physically). It can never hurt to buy a beautiful umbrella (try to find one which can double as a parasol). This will serve two purposes: A) It will hopefully jinx any potential for inclement weather and B) If not, you can still take fabulous shots outdoors utilizing the umbrella. I have photos of a Bride & Groom at The Woodlands on a rainy day with a big red umbrella outdoors. The contrast of the bride's white gown, the groom in a black and white tuxedo and the red umbrella were dramatic. If you like, you can even get beautiful umbrellas for your  bride's maids too - think what a fabulous shot that will make, rain or shine!
