To Post or NOT To Post?

The idea of an event (wedding) website is one which comes up very often as I'm meeting with clients. After all, this is the information age and with Facebook, twitter, iPhones, blackberries and the rest, we are all always plugged in.

So is a wedding website a necessary evil?! I think that all depends on your need to communicate in an efficient way with a large number of people. Consider the following -

Do you have a lot of out of town guests?

Are you in need of communicating more than just the ceremony and reception site to your guests (i.e. post wedding brunch, rehearsal dinner, after hours party, etc)?

Are you registered in a variety of stores?

These and a million other reasons might make a wedding website a smart, efficient way to communicate with your guests, bridal party and others.
